Challenges and Objectives

The client sought to ensure the drone camera’s structural integrity under diverse operating conditions, including altitude changes and dynamic movements.

Methodology (Solutions Implemented)

The analysis involved applying boundary conditions such as internal pressure, random acceleration, and steady-state acceleration. Loading conditions included an internal pressure of 2 bar, random acceleration across the natural frequency, and steady-state acceleration. Post-processing revealed that the stresses on the mounting clamps exceeded the material’s allowable limit.

Benefits (Results Achieved)

The analysis identified a need to strengthen the mounting clamps due to stress exceeding allowable limits, ensuring the drone camera’s structural safety under various conditions

Summary of Project

By conducting detailed FEA analysis, the project identified critical stress points in the drone camera’s structure, highlighting the importance of structural reinforcement for enhanced safety and performance.
